Extra capacity
Sport Office adds practical delivery power, coordination and specialist capacity for clubs, associations, organisations, institutions and athletes.
Sport Office operates from both Greenland and Denmark, with Greenland as its professional and strategic focus. The same services and collaboration opportunities are available to Greenlanders in Denmark, Greenlandic clubs travelling through Denmark, national teams and other Greenlandic stakeholders needing support in Denmark or during international activities.
From need to reliable delivery.
We handle clearly defined assignments and contribute to longer engagements. Our role is tailored to the activity, the individual talent or the organisation – with one clear point of contact and a focus on progress, quality and follow-up.
How we can contribute

Sports guidance & mentoring
Advice and practical mentoring for parents, children and young people looking for a place in sports and leisure communities. We can also develop programmes with residential care settings and other organisations supporting young people in vulnerable circumstances.
Guidance – from an interest to a practical plan
Together with the child or young person and the relevant adults, we explore interests, needs and local opportunities. We help select an activity, contact clubs and clarify practical arrangements, giving the family or institution a workable plan.
Practical mentoring – getting started and staying involved
We build connections with sports and leisure communities and can, by agreement, support the introduction, accompany the first visits and follow up on participation. The aim is to make it easier to get started, build routines and become part of a community.
The approach draws inspiration from Danish municipal leisure-pass and leisure-guidance models and is adapted to local conditions in Greenland. Roles, scope, fees and any financial support are agreed with the family or responsible institution.
International support for Greenlandic national teams and clubs
Practical support from Denmark for national teams and clubs that often manage pre-coordination for travel, tournaments and stays on their own. We can act as a local partner, liaise with organisers, clubs, suppliers and other partners, and coordinate agreements and practical arrangements before, during and after activities in Denmark or abroad.
Sportswear and equipment procurement
Needs assessment, quotations, supplier dialogue, ordering and delivery follow-up for sportswear, equipment and other materials – with a focus on function, quality, value and timely delivery.
Supplier and partnership development
Identification, assessment and development of relevant supplier relationships. We support dialogue about products, pricing, service agreements, delivery and opportunities for long-term, value-creating partnerships.
Travel and event logistics
Coordinated planning of travel, accommodation, equipment, schedules and local deliveries for tournaments, events, training camps and projects – including active follow-up on changes and dependencies.
Talent support in Denmark and abroad
Practical and coordinating support for talents who train, compete or establish themselves away from their home environment. This may include liaison with clubs, coaches, families, organisations, educational institutions, events, suppliers and foundations.
Boarding school, education and dual careers
Support for young talents and their networks as they move into boarding schools, educational environments and other development programmes. We assist with clarification, coordination, stakeholder liaison and practical follow-up so sport and education can work together.
Club and organisational development
Development of organisations, working practices and sustainable club environments. Assignments may include organisational reviews, strategy and action plans, governance, clear roles and responsibilities, membership development, partnerships and funding readiness.
Event development and coordinated planning
We support organisers in developing the event’s purpose, concept, programme, roles, timelines, venue, suppliers, participant flows and interfaces between partners. Our role is to create structure and coordinate dependencies, giving the organiser’s own volunteers, staff and partners a clear basis for delivery.
Administrative and project capacity
Temporary additional capacity for clubs and organisations with limited time or resources. We can support project management, meeting preparation, documentation, follow-up, partner dialogue and coordination across stakeholders.
