New opportunities for Greenlandic sport
Sport Office is developing ideas that can make knowledge and practical support more accessible to Greenlandic sports stakeholders. Our own projects must have a clear purpose and results that can be documented.
Four directions for development
The initiatives below are planned. Their scope, funding and delivery arrangements are still being developed.
Knowledge portal for Greenlandic sport
A shared gateway to knowledge, analyses and guidance for clubs, organisations, institutions and decision-makers.
Support for smaller clubs
A planned service programme to help smaller clubs with development, funding and practical assignments. Free or partly funded support will be available only once financing and programme terms are established.
Digital project and funding tools
Opportunities to make work on project material, finances and applications easier. Our existing AI engine remains an internal working tool; public access is a separate development ambition.
Analyses of Greenlandic sport
Planned studies of needs, opportunities and barriers. Each study must complement existing knowledge and the work of Greenlandic stakeholders.
Developed around real needs
Each project must have a distinct purpose, target group, budget and measurable results. We want to develop the initiatives in dialogue with Greenlandic clubs, organisations and other relevant stakeholders.
Sport Office aims to add knowledge and capacity to existing efforts and help make sport and physical activity more accessible.
